The Bancaja Cultural Centre, headquarters of the Bancaja Foundation in Valencia, presents an exhibition on the artist Joaquín Sorolla (Valencia, 1863 – Madrid 1923).
This is a selection of 14 works from the New York Hispanic Society, to be seen away from their original location for the first time. The exhibition also includes studies, sketches and notes in gouache and oils. The paintings show scenes from daily life in different regions of Spain that the artist travelled to. They were painted between 1911 and 1919 at the request of Archer Milton Huntington, to adorn one room of the Hispanic Society

Tanned Tin Festival

The ninth edition of the Tanned Tin Castelló will take place in the Auditori i Palau de Congreso de Castellón and in the Teatre Principal in Castellón on November 1st, 2nd and 3rd (with extra activities on October 31st and November 4th).
The main objective of the Tanned Tin is to provide a small appetizer of what we consider to be the most interesting things happening in the independent, international music scene.
